Crashlands 2 Rolls Out Update 1.1, Bringing Back The Compendium
Crashlands 2 has just rolled out a major update today, version 1.1, courtesy of Butterscotch Shenanigans. This update is packed with features and challenges that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly waiting to see in the sequel.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
One of the headline additions is the new Legend Mode, which cranks up the difficulty beyond the existing Challenge Mode. Enemies on Woanope are now faster, deal more damage, and boast increased HP, while Flux Dabes has become even more fragile. While there are no specific achievements for conquering Legend Mode, successfully completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty settings.
On the other end of the spectrum, Explorer Mode caters to players who prefer a more relaxed experience. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing you to focus on farming mushrooms, building an adorable home, and fishing in peace. It's the perfect setting for those who wish to immerse themselves in the game's story, decorate their base, and interact with the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
A significant update is the return of The Compendium, responding directly to player feedback post-launch. This feature meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, including the number of pets, recipes, and items yet to be found, helping you towards achieving your goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With the 1.1 update, pets in Crashlands 2 now actively participate in battles. Each pet comes equipped with a unique special ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, enhancing your combat strategy.
Gear crafting has also seen an upgrade, with random bonus stats now appearing when you craft armor, adding a layer of excitement and variety. The update introduces a range of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets for players to explore.
Quality of life improvements are scattered throughout update 1.1. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the night-time darkness level to their preference.
You can download Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store. It's worth noting that the game was launched on April 10th, and this patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to and acting on player feedback.
