Clash of Clans Signs NFL Rookie Travis Hunter in Two-Way Deal

Supercell is introducing a football-themed crossover event to its popular strategy game. Clash of Clans has teamed up with Travis Hunter, the second overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. This new update makes the Jacksonville Jaguars star the first-ever two-way partnership in Clash history.

The Inspiration Behind the Two-Way Collaboration

Travis Hunter became an internet sensation earlier this year when he was seen playing Clash of Clans just moments before receiving his draft call. Born in 2003, Hunter has already made college football history. He remains the only player to ever win both the Chuck Bednarik and Fred Biletnikoff Awards.

This event draws direct inspiration from Hunter's exceptional two-way abilities on the field. He's recognized for playing both wide receiver and cornerback positions in the NFL. This unique approach translates directly into how you'll experience the game.

You'll need to demonstrate your skills not just in attacking but in defending as well, mirroring how Hunter performs under pressure on both sides of the ball each week. Master both aspects, and you could earn an invitation to join Travis’ personal in-game clan.

Supercell has released a new collaboration trailer. The animated promotional film even includes the Barbarian, one of Clash's most iconic characters. The campaign also features a social media challenge encouraging players to raid enemy villages while holding a plank position—a clever reference to the dual-discipline theme of the event.

And That's Not All!

Players who rise to the challenge can earn up to two million gems. Rewards are equally divided between offensive and defensive achievements. The update also introduces time-limited resource boosts through a new series of Bootcamps.

The Elixir Bootcamp is currently active, followed by the Dark Elixir Bootcamp running until August 1st. Finally, the Everything Bootcamp concludes the series from August 1st through August 8th.

Additionally, the Summer Jam event is now live. Building upgrades take 25% less time, resource generation is twice as fast, and resource collector capacities are doubled. Download the game now from the Google Play Store.
