China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Ananta, formerly known as Project Mugen, is gearing up for launch, having recently revealed its title and a captivating trailer. The game, a blend of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even elements reminiscent of GTA, is set to launch in China in 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms.

Early promotional material has generated significant buzz, showcasing Ananta's unique anime-style aesthetic and diverse gameplay features. The December 5th trailer introduced Ananta as an open-world urban RPG where players take on the role of an A.C.D. agent in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova, a location ripe with mystery and exploration.

This ambitious project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. Its appeal lies in its familiar yet supernatural environment, offering a unique blend of established gameplay mechanics with a compelling, otherworldly twist.

Key highlights include four-player team-based battles, a striking art style, and fluid, high-speed movement. The game's approved release in China signifies a significant step towards a global launch, promising a captivating experience for players worldwide.
