Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its Zombies experience with a brand-new map, and it's already causing a buzz among the community. The developers gave us a sneak peek via the official Call of Duty (X) Twitter and Treyarch Studio’s X (Twitter) accounts. On March 12, 2025, they shared an image showcasing the front of a grand mansion, visibly damaged with flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and internal fires.

The post was intriguingly captioned with "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" and tagged with "#Zombies." Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a well-known character from the series, played a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War. As Black Ops 6 is a remake of that title, it's no surprise to see Eddie making a return.

Sharp-eyed fans have noted that this map is set in the Mansion from Liberty Falls, dated February 1991 according to the teaser image. This timeline aligns perfectly with the narrative from the last Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, suggesting a continuation of the story.

One of the most significant changes in this new map is the absence of Amalgam enemies. Treyarch confirmed this on their Instagram account after a user commented, "cannot wait to feel the wrath of 20 amalgams on this map too," to which the developers responded with a simple "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high health and powerful attacks, are Elite class enemies. Their exclusion from this map promises a potentially smoother gameplay experience for players.
