Bennett Takes The Spotlight Again In Upcoming Genshin Impact 5.0 Livestream

The excitement surrounding Natlan in Genshin Impact is reaching fever pitch! Hoyoverse has announced the date for the highly anticipated Natlan special program, sparking widespread anticipation within the community. This Friday at 12:00 AM (UTC-4), the live stream will premiere on Twitch and YouTube.

The program's poster, titled "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," promises a wealth of Natlan reveals, including official banners and free rewards.

The Bennett Question: Generous Gift or Disappointment?

Let's address the elephant in the room – the free Bennett. While many players anticipated receiving Kachina, a Natlan native, for free, Hoyoverse has opted for a different approach. Instead, the adventurous Bennett will be the free 4-star character, obtainable through a world quest.

While rumors suggest Bennett's origins lie in Natlan, making him a thematic fit, this decision breaks with the established tradition of providing a free character from the new region to aid exploration. Kachina, unfortunately, won't be freely available.

A Bountiful Harvest of Free Wishes

The free wishes are what's truly capturing players' attention. After initial fluctuations, the final number appears to be 115. Completing all content in version 5.0 will yield this amount. However, players with less time to dedicate to grinding can still expect approximately 90 free wishes.

With version 5.0 launching on August 28th, Genshin Impact's 4th anniversary is also on the horizon, bringing additional rewards. Hoyoverse is introducing a 7-day login event offering ten fates, 1600 Primogems, a free pet, and a gadget. Combining this with daily commissions, world quests, Spiral Abyss runs, and events, players can anticipate around 18,435 Primogems, or 115 wishes.
