Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One, the gripping single-player action-horror game set in the iconic Alien universe, is set to receive a significant upgrade. The best part? You won't need a VR headset to dive into the terror.
Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition is slated to launch on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025. This new edition promises "even deadlier Xenomorphs and enhanced visuals," intensifying the horror experience. Starting today, gamers can wishlist the non-VR version on Steam and PlayStation.
The original game made its debut on PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam in December 2024, followed by a release on Meta Quest 3 in February. Now, with the Evolved Edition, players can enjoy the chilling atmosphere and intense gameplay without VR gear.

Developed and published by Survios, the Evolved Edition of Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One will be available at $29.99 for the standard edition, with the Digital Deluxe edition priced at $39.99.
Set between the events of the movies Alien and Aliens, the game plunges players into a mission on the planet Purdan (LV-354), where they search for a former squadmate. After a sudden Xenomorph attack, protagonist Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01, find themselves navigating the eerie, abandoned corridors of Gemini Exoplanet Solutions’ Castor’s Cradle research facility. Expect intense action, encounters with terrifying Xenomorphs, and a deep, mysterious narrative.
IGN's review of the VR version awarded it a 7/10, stating: "Alien: Rogue Incursion is a compelling first crack at bringing Alien to VR with lots of room to grow."
The developers of Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One will be showcasing a brand-new look at the Evolved Edition at IGN Live next month, offering fans an exciting glimpse into the upcoming enhancements.
