"2016 Clue Suspects Now in Mobile Version"
If you're a fan of the classic murder-mystery game Clue, also known as Cluedo, you'll be thrilled to learn that Marmalade Game Studio has released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version. This exciting update brings back the iconic characters from the 2016 edition, allowing you to dive back into the intrigue and suspense with familiar faces.
Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?
The pack features beloved characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. With this update, you're not limited to specific crime scenes or case files; you can freely mix these suspects into any scenario you desire. This flexibility lets you indulge in nostalgia by choosing your favorite character or even blend them with the newer 2023 cast for a unique gameplay experience.
Fans of the 2016 version have been eagerly awaiting the return of these characters, especially since the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters didn't sit well with everyone. It's great to see that Marmalade Game Studio has responded to community feedback by releasing this much-requested pack.
There’s More Coming to the Game!
In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new game mode: the Retro Rules Set. This mode, which is available for free, takes you back to the original 1949 rules, offering a nostalgic twist to your gameplay. With the Retro Rules Set, you'll experience classic mechanics such as starting tokens at designated spots on the board, with Miss Scarlet always taking the first move unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps in.
In this mode, accusations can only be made from within a room, and Clue Cards are entirely removed, adding an extra layer of challenge. Additionally, you won't be able to move through squares occupied by other players, bringing back the strategic depth of the original game.
Be sure to check out Clue aka Cluedo on the Google Play Store to experience these exciting updates.
