ABC Song set to a Mozart melody. A 1930s-style cartoon.

A 30-second ABC Song cartoon designed for very young children.

The lyrics visually expand and contract as each letter is mentioned in the song.

Simultaneously, a young girl dances to Mozart's tune while the spoken lyrics aid in letter recognition.

This is a translation of the public domain song "The ABC" or "My ABC's," widely known in English-speaking countries.

The ABC Song was first performed in the United States in 1835, with lyrics by Charles Bradlee.

The melody was composed by Mozart (1756-1791) for his piano variations, "Ah, vous dirai-je, Maman."

This is the same melody used for "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep." (Source: Wikipedia)
