A Fish Eater is an animal that regularly preys on humans as part of its natural hunting behavior.

In the game, the player takes control of a female bull shark who must grow stronger, evolve, and survive in a vast open world in order to seek vengeance against the fisherman who scarred her as a pup and murdered her mother.

Players will uncover hidden landmarks and tackle various side missions. Each region features dangerous predators such as muskellunge, barracuda, alligators, sperm whales, orcas, and even rival sharks. More importantly, every area has its own unique apex predator—larger and more menacing than their regular counterparts. These include the great barracuda, shortfin mako, American alligator, great hammerhead, great white, orca, and albino sperm whale. Defeating these beasts grants the player powerful new abilities.

The game world reacts dynamically to your actions. As the shark causes increasing destruction, human bounty hunters are sent out to eliminate it. Should the shark defeat the lead hunters, new, more dangerous ones will eventually be deployed.

To grow stronger, the shark must hunt and consume marine life such as fish and turtles to obtain essential nutrients—including proteins, fats, minerals, and rare mutagenics. Players can also target humans by creating chaos along the coastline, destroying yachts and ships, and flipping people off jet skis.
