Companion App for Knowledge is Power: Decades on PlayStation®4

As of December 14, 2023, there's an important update regarding the companion apps for several PlayLink games, including Knowledge is Power: Decades. Here's what you need to know:

Android Users:

If you have already downloaded the companion app to your current device or it has been added to your library, you will continue to be able to play the game with the relevant companion app. However, note that the companion apps for these games are no longer distributed on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11.

Apple iOS Users:

You will continue to be able to play the game with the relevant companion app, regardless of your iOS version.

Game Overview:

Challenge your friends and family in the high-energy quiz Knowledge is Power: Decades on the PlayStation®4 system using the game's companion app. Test your trivia knowledge with thousands of pop culture questions spanning the '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s.

How to Play:

• Use your smartphone as a controller to play with up to five other players.
• Be the fastest finger first to answer questions, use a mix of tricks to gain an edge over opponents, and participate in touch screen Challenges.
• Ensure your PlayStation®4 system is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your compatible mobile device.
• Follow the in-app instructions to connect and start playing.

Features of the App:

• Pick your character and snap a selfie using various fun filters.
• Answer quiz questions privately without other players seeing your choices.
• Choose from a selection of Power Plays to slow down your rivals.
• Engage in six touch screen Challenges using taps, swipes, drags, and more.
• Play 'Quiz Blast' and challenge friends to beat your time via the app when away from your PlayStation®4 system. Note: message and data rates may apply.

The app supports English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Greek, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic.
