● Hasami Shogi Rules

Players are divided into Infantry and Gold sides. You capture an opponent's piece by sandwiching it between your pieces.

The winner is the first to capture three pieces.

However, due to the nature of Hasami Shogi, games can sometimes reach a stalemate (while design efforts minimize this, outcomes can still be somewhat luck-based).

● Prisoner's Base Shogi Rules

Players are divided into Infantry and Gold. Your Infantry starts in a 3x3 area; the first to move all pieces to the opponent's territory side wins. Opponent's pieces can be jumped over.

● Surround Shogi Rules

Players are divided into Infantry and Gold. Similar to Hasami Shogi, you capture by sandwiching an opponent's piece. Additionally, you can place pieces within your own territory to surround squares on the game board.

The winner is the first to capture six board frames or secure three territories.

For all rule sets, the CPU opponent has three difficulty levels. Player-versus-player (PvP) mode is also supported.
