任天堂、CES 2025 の Switch 2 リークに対応

任天堂は、CES 2025に端を発した最近のSwitch 2リークの相次ぎに関して、異例の声明を発表した。同社は、出回っている画像が公式のものではないことを確認したが、この率直な宣言は、リーク対応に対する任天堂の一般的に控えめなアプローチによって注目に値するものとなった。

産経新聞の問い合わせに対し、任天堂はゲンキのレプリカ画像は「公式なものではない」と正式に回答した。同社は CES 2025 への不参加を強調し、イベントに由来する Switch 2 の画像には公式の承認が欠けていることを明確にしました。

ゲンキのレプリカ: 正確かどうか?

任天堂はレプリカの精度については何も意見を述べていないが、そのデザインは以前のリークや噂と一致している。オリジナルの Switch との最も大きな違いは、左側の Joy-Con のキャプチャボタンに似た追加のボタンが追加されていることです。右側の Joy-Con のホームボタンの下にあり、「C」というラベルが付いています。その機能はまだ謎のままです。

Genki CEO の Eddie Tsai 氏は、「C」ボタンについては明らかにできなかったものの、さらなる詳細とされる詳細を明らかにした。これらには、Joy-Con の磁気アタッチメント (オリジナルの Switch のスライドレールの代わり) や、コントローラーがマウスとして機能する可能性が含まれており、他の情報源からも同様の主張がなされています。
