Just tap the activity button in the app, set your timer for up to 24 hours, and dive into your adventure. When you're safely back, end the timer effortlessly. If you need more time, extending the timer is as easy as pushing a button.

Should you ever find yourself in distress and unable to call for help, Hibou steps in. If your timer runs out without your return, notifications are sent to your chosen contacts, alerting them that you're overdue and sharing your last known location. Help will be on its way promptly.

Hibou also offers a daily automated wellness check service, providing peace of mind to your loved ones. At scheduled times, you'll report your status via the app, website, or phone system. If you miss a check-in, you'll receive reminders through app notifications, emails, or calls. After a grace period and further reminders, if you still haven't reported, your circle members will be notified of your missed check-in.
