Halma, also known as Ugolki or уголки (meaning "corners"), is a strategic board game.

Halma is a board game invented in 1883 or 1884 by George Howard Monks, an American thoracic surgeon at Harvard Medical School. It was inspired by an English game called Hoppity.

The game is played on a checkered board. Pieces are typically black and white for two-player games and come in various colors for four-player games, starting in opposing corners. The objective is to move all of your pieces from your starting camp into the diagonally opposite corner. On each turn, a player can either move a single piece to an adjacent empty square or make a sequence of jumps over one or more pieces.
