Escrito por Nick Winn e ilustrado por Winn y Derek Ballard, Adventure Time #1 recoge después del final de la serie animada. El primer arco de la historia, titulado "Best of Buds", promete nuevas desventuras y el mismo humor conmovedor que definió el espectáculo.
