King of Fighters: AFK has officially entered Early Access on Steam, marking a major milestone for the mobile and PC RPG adaptation of the legendary SNK fighting franchise. Developed by KoF Studio in collaboration with SNK Corporation, the game blends classic King of Fighters characters, lore, and team-based combat with turn-based RPG mechanics and gacha-style progression.
What’s New in Early Access:
Playable Characters: Over 30 legendary fighters from the KOF series are available, including iconic teams like Kyo Kusanagi, Iori Yagami, Benimaru Nikaido, Leona Heidern, K', and Chris.
Turn-Based Combat: Strategic, team-based battles where players build synergistic lineups using character abilities, elemental types, and team combos.
AFK Mechanic: Characters auto-fight in missions and dungeons while you're away, allowing for passive progression and resource gathering.
Story Mode: A reimagined narrative featuring new story arcs and cutscenes that expand on the lore of the KOF universe.
Customizable Teams: Players can craft unique team builds using elemental affinities (Fire, Water, Earth, etc.) and team synergy mechanics.
Raid Dungeons & PvP: Regular seasonal events, ranked leaderboards, and cooperative raids against powerful bosses.

Cross-progression between PC and mobile (via SNK Account).
Daily quests, login rewards, and event-based content.
In-game currency and gacha system (with guaranteed pulls and pity mechanics).
