Game Rules

This popular Indian card game is played by four people using a standard 52-card deck. The game is played over 5 rounds, with Spades always acting as the trump suit. The dealer gives 13 cards to each player. At the start, players bid on how many tricks they believe they can win. The Callbreak multiplayer game is about winning the most tricks while also

breaking other players' bids. This is called call breaking.

Deal & Bidding

Each player is dealt 13 cards, starting to the left of the dealer. The first dealer in Call Break is chosen randomly, and thereafter,

the deal rotates clockwise from the first dealer.

Scoring

In the Call Break game, each player bids a number between 1 and 13, starting from the dealer's left. Players must meet their bid

to achieve a positive score.

Play

A player receives points equal to their bid if they win that many tricks. Any extra tricks are worth 0.1 points each. If a player wins fewer tricks than their bid, they receive negative points equal to their bid.

Each game consists of five rounds or deals. At the end of the fifth round, a winner is declared; the player with the highest total points

wins the game.
